Not Just Strong, Mommy Strong

FAQs

What Should I Expect?

HIIT is an hour long workout that includes core work, cardio bursts and weight training. Moms of all fitness levels, both runners and walkers, are welcome. Our kids are along for the ride and are entertained through song, rhyme and other activities. A healthy, happy mom makes for a healthy, happy family!

Expect a challenging, but fun filled, hour long workout that is individualized to fit your fitness level and needs.

Can I Bring my Kids?

Absolutely! We have a play area, but feel free to also bring a stroller or car seat in. Moms are responsible for watching their kids, but kids are within eyesight and love seeing mom workout!

What Do I Need to Bring?

Bring water for yourself, a drink and snacks for your kid(s), sunscreen and visor, a yoga mat or towel for core work and stretching, and athletic shoes. The instructor will provide the equipment.

How Old Does My Child Have To Be?

Little ones typically range from 6 weeks to 6 years, however children of any age that are willing to ride in a stroller are welcome. * * For summer (and possibly for home school families), we have changed our format slightly, with us staying in one location so older siblings can play at the park while Mom works out. * *

Who Can Participate?

Pregnant women are welcome to join before baby arrives, with midwife or doctor approval (stroller optional). Post-partum moms can begin as soon as they are cleared for exercise by their midwife or doctor. Classes are designed for all fitness levels.
